"Company acquired by Allscripts. As is typical for Allscripts, the acquisition was related to market share and adding an acute product line as Allscripts was ambulatory only, Unfortunate that Allscripts prematurely terminated acute teams and were left with little to no knowledge of the market or products."

"I would assist Doctors and IT admins to make the Software work. Work could include Security, Sharing, Printers, Scanners, WAN's and LAN's, thin clients, talk to text programs, and interfaces to other programs who input data into our software through xml or HL7. We had to be certified in HIPAA.I reached the point that I could set up a server and have all the users on a Domain or Workgroup and would work perfectly.I also escalated nothing in the last 5 years.we worked totally unsupervised.the management was distant if issues came up."
